Infrared Systems International's Subsidiary, AquaLiv, Inc.'s, New Technology May Allow Coastal Crops to be Irrigated With Seawater
June 16, 2011 Infrared Systems International (OTCBB: IFRS) subsidiary, AquaLiv, Inc., announced it has successfully grown rice in seawater.

AquaLiv completed a series of laboratory experiments this week that demonstrated a modified version of its AgSmart(TM) product could potentially be used to irrigate crops with seawater in lieu of freshwater.

"The results indicate that this is a potential application for AgSmart(TM) that is worthy of further exploration," stated AquaLiv CEO Craig Hoffman. "Research into this application has just begun, so there is still much to learn."

Dr. Takemi Ichimura, AquaLiv's Chief Science Officer, had the idea for growing plants in seawater following Japan's devastating tsunami, which left vast swaths of coastal farmland too saline for general agriculture use. Dr. Ichimura is a graduate of Tohoku University in Sendai. "Sendai was one of the most devastated areas in Japan," added Mr. Hoffman. "He wanted to contribute to the rehabilitation in some way."

The experiments compared the sprouting ability and subsequent growth of rice plants bathed in well water, seawater, and seawater treated with a modified version of AquaLiv's information-based agriculture product, AgSmart(TM). The untreated seawater demonstrated significantly reduced germination and subsequent growth, as expected. However, the AgSmart(TM)-treated seawater sprouted and grew rice just as robustly as well water.

"Not only could this potentially restore the coastal farmland in Japan," stated Bill Wright, CEO of Infrared Systems International, "but it may be possible that where freshwater is a scarce commodity, coastal areas worldwide could now be used to grow food. This is a significant development in global food production."

Earlier this year, the company released its first agriculture product, AgSmart(TM) Rice. The product increases yields without chemicals or genetic modification and is organic standards compliant. Based on AquaLiv's patented BioT(TM) Bioinformation Technology, AgSmart(TM) products utilize novel wave-based information composites to influence plant behavior.

IFRS "bioinformation"

SILVERDALE, Wash., June 10, 2011 -- Infrared Systems International (IFRS) subsidiary, AquaLiv, Inc., has released an explanatory statement about its BioT(TM) Bioinformation Technology. AquaLiv received an overwhelming number of technical inquiries this week as a result of its recent announcement that its pilot HIV/AIDS study showed tremendous results and did not rely on any active molecule. According to the announcement, the company's treatment "resembles common mineral water in analysis." "The basis of our technology has nothing to do with water," answered AquaLiv CEO Craig Hoffman. "We merely use water as a delivery vehicle for our treatment. In actuality, it is the few mineral ions in water that resemble the ions in magnetic video or audio tape that are of our concern. Just as the VHS tapes of yesterday contained rich audio and visual information, we program our wave-based information composites into these mineral ions - it is the same concept. Our NatuRx(TM) treatments contain a water we ourselves manufacture with known concentrations of these ions. It's the only way to guarantee performance." According to the company's website, the technology is based on its discovery that all organisms utilize a barcode-like language to interact with their environment more efficiently. By communicating with organisms through this language, the company can create desired responses without using chemicals. The company refers to this biological barcode as "bioinformation." "As it relates to medicine, we believe our treatments can be converted to tablets. This would represent a large cost savings to us as we scale, but for the purposes of our medical research, it makes no sense to explore this now - our scientific staff is working at capacity," added Mr. Hoffman. "In clinical situations, we envision the future of our technology utilizes computer automated. An MRI-like machine will scan the patient for localized bioinformation anomalies, compute a waveform correction treatment, and broadcast the treatment directly into the patient." AquaLiv's patented BioT(TM) Bioinformation Technology is the basis for numerous products and industrial solutions including the AgSmart(TM) line of agriculture enhancement products and the upcoming NatuRx(TM) treatments for a variety of diseases. The technology utilizes novel wave-based information composites in lieu of molecules. "The technology is difficult for many people to wrap their head around - I know it was for me," stated Bill Wright, CEO of Infrared Systems International. "It takes an effort to dig in and understand what is occurring - and the results speak volumes."
